The story starting was not obvious: MC looked pathetic in his misery, but of course there was more of It and the story did not loose time to get to the point. The story progresses reveling the plot and presenting new characters in a smooth way. What I liked, surprisingly again for my standards, is how friendship and loyalty is portraied; I am used to friendship turning in a non platonic romance very quickly, and I lied if I say that I did not expect anything more, but so far I am fine with It.
The fighting scenes are awesome: the colors, the movements, the vampiric fangs and claws, the armors, the monsters, the medieval setting, I loved them all. The only little detail that sometimes feels a bit off Is the MC perfection, but since he started as a poor looser, I felt I could forgive the compensation arc for now.
So far, totally recommended.
