Nice art but I can't recommend.

The story is bad and frustrating overall but I drew the line when the author tries to write a rapist as a sympathetic.

They practically backed the MC into a corner saying "No, hitting the man who raped your mother won't solve anything and even though he hurt you and your mother - He was nice to me. Oh and also he was in love with your mother"

Like so what???? The MC and her mother were denied justice because he was able to fly back home before being put on trial.

The author practically romanticised it. Saying that the rapist watched his victim and MC from afar. Saying that he was actually in love with the victim.

Just no.

No amount of pretty drawings, chibi characters or slapstick comedy will make this okay.

The arc should have been written with more nuance and time dedicated to the thoughts and feelings of the characters. The topic of ra** and forgiveness is so delicate it felt insulting to see it sandwiched into the last couple of chapters of this story.

Read it if you want to see some pretty pictures, other than that I don't really see what else it has to offer.
