How To Become A Dragon

Really good story

A great story.

It start out as a comedy about figuring out humanity; however, as the story goes on, you actually find it tackles some more serious topics. A light-hearted read that will get you smiling, and then tearing up. One of the themes I see reoccurring is generational trauma. It's handled beautifully, and makes the characters feel so much more real.

Characters are well written and you will find yourself torn on who you want to root for. Each character is extremely dimensional. Often their past isn't as black and white as you'd initially believe. 

A lot of Korean folklore and mythos is mixed with this story. If you're interested in that stuff, this is the perfect place for you. It's worked in quite well, not being there as a plot device or as something that just looked cool. 

Art is very good. The artist has worked on a different story before this one, so the experience shines through. It has a unique visual style that seems to fit perfectly with it's themes and imagery. 

Definitely recommend this if you are thinking about reading it.
