The art is marvelous as a whole, the women are stunning but the men as just bland so don't expect much. The story is good overall (?) but it was just not for me i guess. This review can be considered as a spoiler but in my view it is a much needed spoiler if you just started reading it expecting something else and thats why i dropped it as soon i saw it would eventually come to this:

the whole start of this story is build with a revenge premisse but as the chapters goes the MC starts to stumble and finds herself falling in love with the guy AGAIN. It's a complex plot and i understand the autor wanted to make this story more "human" but da** it was such a let down because MC succeeds her objectives and make the impossible possible just to go back to square 1 falling in love with the guy again? pis*** me off so bad that i dropped. Maybe in the future chapters it would not turn out like this and i overreacted + got pis*** for nothing but i'm not reading

Being too slow of a slow burn, what could have been a 4 star... is left to 3. Author is clinging for their life, to stretch the story out until it's less than the thickness of a human hair.

It was good until she started to get weak in chapter 22 i think at the tea party where she was being torn apart by insults from the marchioness. She just sat there blue in the face and shaking in her soul and made the softess girl there have to stand up for her. After that she started with the typical drunken behavior around the duke, her heart beating fast for him, blushing, then straying from the original goal of vengeance and survival. I stopped at chapter 25, don't need to see anything more than that to know the typical direction this is heading in, long story short her and the duke will live happily ever after.

I was honestly so suprised with this one. I had no particularly high expectations but I definitely was captivated by the originality and depth of the lore.

We are introduced to a romantically betrayed commoner of a socially degenerate background who reincarnates into her next life and gets in the same dreaded romantic situation and how she simultaneously has to navigate the acidic social environment of high society and prove her independence as a woman is just a breath of fresh air from what I normally read.

The emotions are real, the characters are fleshed out and the story is good! Definitely one of my favorites!

It starts strange and you won't understand why the FL is going back and you'll want to hate the ML, but give it a chance.

It will surprise you with a beautiful love story, a smart/witty/se**/non-victim FL full of nice friends, epic moments, satisfying revenge and amaaaaaaaaazing dresses.

Idk what it is but ou of all the historical romance manhwas I've read, this is probably the closest thing I've read to western regency romance novels. Except for the cliche going back to the past part.
