Fück, I shouldn't. I really shouldn't. Too early. You need AT LEAST 50 chapters to review a typical Korean manwha. This is me, jumping the shark at 30. Selling out, before making a fool of myself if the quality drops. But you gotta understand.
It's just so fuc**** good. I AM FEEBLE! THE FLESH IS WEAK! AND THE LEVEL OF WRITING IN THIS THING COULD EFFORTLESSLY PULL A PREMIUM EVENING SLOT ON A CABLE CHANNEL, OKAY?
And I'm hearing you, scoffing. Telling me there's definitely better in the art department, out there. Which, first of all, it's true but it's perfectly serviceable. Good even. And honestly, you? You, judging appearances? Hypocrisy doesn't suit you, honey. A paper bag on your face does.
So who cares. Who the fu** cares when the writing is the best thing g** delivered on this forsaken damned Earth since sliced bread became a thing? It's written like it matters, ffs! It has style! And the characters are complex, distinctive. They have proper dynamics between them, which evolve with their relationships!
AND YES, THE TROPES ARE KNOWN TO US! "Northern duke". "Fake daughter". "FL's plays Civilization VI IRL". The thing about tropes is that they are fückin fun. And they work, if done properly. This one knows how to, and I sincerely hope it keeps up the great work in the next chapters too.
I swear to Göd, if the usual suspects come in and ruin the translation as always, raping the zappy dialogues into nonsensical filth, I AM GONNA BLOW UP THEIR GRUBBY HANDS MYSELF. I AM. Do not try me, I'm a bi*** when I'm mad! AND I'M ALWAYS FUC**** MAD! Work it out!
