Pretty good on Sadistic Beauty BL Sidestory
Okay, first of all - I'm sorry but rating this manga 1 star because "it's problematic" is just childlish. That's not how rating works, and it had bad rep from the start because of it. It's weird - it's not for you? Don't read it. Don't judge in on "I don't like the topic therefore it's bad".
Now to the rating - tbh, 4 stars is a bit too high but 3 is too low for me. This manhua was very promising. It's a very interesting read if you like the topics - cycle of abuse, how it impacts the victim, even the perps side of the story. It wasn't all black and white which I liked. The abusers had his reasons and issues, the victim wasn't a "perfect/ideal victim" trope, which I also liked. I think it's very benefitial (and from fictional point of view - way more interesting) to show complexities in those situations because it's never simple and clean. If it was, abuse wouldn't be so common. I'm always down for study of dark topics and this author definitely started on the right path.
And this is where the disadvantages come through because this manga did not deliever. Spoiler without spoilers - the ending doesn't really have any resolutions. It just ends abruptly which was a massive let down for me. It kind of looks like author saw the response and just wanted to drop the story, but that's my tinfoil theory. All the interesting plot points and deconstructions just come to nothing and I left feeling that there was no point. Just a massive drop of quality imo. Let all the plot conclude and breathe - it would be probably 7-8/10. Now it's sitting at like 6/10.

Rocks on My Darling Signed In
Absolutely love it, the storyline's really good in my opinion, not too much drama [click at your own risk]
Spoiler!
And really showing that even if you have a long distance relationship, if you truly love each other, then it won't end up like those on the tvs, plus I like that our dear seme didn't just wanna depend on uke, he wanted to stand beside him.

Rocks on Koimonogatari (TAGURA Tohru)
literally so good. it's realistic and goes over the struggles of being lgbtq. such a great read even if there isn't any romance so far.
