Meh on Yoru Ni Torokeru
I started reading this because I was tired of other romance stories that go on for 50 or 100+ chapters with no confession or progress, so I thought I would try a bunch of short stories that get to the point. First and foremost, these stories lean hard on the drama moreso than slice-of-life stuff or comedy. But also, I'm not exaggerating when I say these stories drop you right into the middle of everything. It just shows the relationship drama of people we don't know, so there's no investment. I would have much preferred if Tadano and Komi had started dating around chapter 50, rather than 400+, but I wouldn't have wanted them to completely remove all of the preceding character development.
