In this world, there are wizards-- cursed, subhuman beings who are born out of their own selfish wishes. If a human wishes for something, they transform into a twisted amalgamation of their own desire, called a wizard. They become monsters, to be exact.
In order to undo this curse, legend says that you must eat a child with blue blood. Thus begins the hunt for the azure-blooded child, coveted by every wizard in the world. In the midst of the wizards' relentless pursuit of blood, two beings meet.
Howcuttle is a humanoid wizard with only a mouth and an insatiable hunger. He ate the Carnal Map, which allegedly is supposed to lead to the azure-blooded child.
Beni is a little girl who is devoid of everything except for her name, and a letter from a mysterious man named Nico. Their meeting kicks off with Howcuttle biting off her arm, only to find that she has red blood, and that her arm has regenerated.
Thus, begins the journey of a wizard and an immortal little girl.
DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU ARE FAINT OF HEART. The art is disturbing. It uneases you, intriuges you, paints twisted portraits of the occuring events. It is SOOO fuc**** good though. The artist is incredibly talented. The way the wizards are drawn is so unnerving.
There is a fu** ton of blood. Because, you know, blue-blooded kids and a lot of murder. It's a dark fantasy, and it has a whole lot of potential.
Loving it so far. It's pretty great. I'm interested to see how things will develop.
