Pretty good on Dog and Bird
Plot: 7/10 (I like that it has no unnecessary drama for the most part and it's not too long to get boring)
Characters: 8/10
Art: 7/10 (a bit stiff but overall it's fun)
Side stories + special: 9/10 (a perfect palate cleanser)
I did find it icky when MC asked ML if he was sleeping with someone else during his rut AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR MONTHS! I liked how ML handled it but oh boy....it made me double take. BUT BUT BUT also, I like how MC's insecurities are focused upon. It feels genuine and makes me want to root for them.

Pretty good on The Dark Mage’s Return to Enlistment
The story is great and really fun to read, and the art is also good. Honestly, pretty much everything about it is great except for one big problem there’s basically no character development for the side characters.
Everything is focused only on him. We already know he’s the MC and he’s kinda OP, and that part is fine, but the side characters feel completely lifeless. From chapter 1 up to the latest chapter, nothing about them has changed. No growth, no new depth, no moments that actually make them feel important. They’re just… there.
Even the higher-ranked characters don’t feel like actual threats or powerful figures. They feel flat, which makes me question how they were even managing to defend anything before the MC came back from Earth. It’s like the whole world was frozen until he showed up.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a really enjoyable read and I like it a lot, but the story would be way better if the side characters actually developed instead of staying the same the whole time. Right now it kinda feels like they exist only to make the MC look cooler.

Rocks on The Heart of the Lotus
This is for a mature yaoi fan I'd say 28+ for sure🤓. It is such a rare find💎, it tickled my senses in a way I haven't experienced before so if you like complex, layered characters, please brace yourself 🙈🥲.
I'm giving it 5⭐ even though the plot could change because work designed for truly mature audiences is rare, so for me, this is a classic regardless of how the plot unfolds.
If you're an impatient reader try to get to the flashback chapters, the way this story is told if you don't get to those chapters you'll end up missing out on a really good bl.
Finally, the artwork. The artwork surprised me especially cause I'd just finished Open Board, this artwork got me completely by surprise😯. The more you read, the more you like it. And don't get me started on the characters bc LORD HAVE MERCY!! 🥵
